Mary, Spouse of the Holy Spirit

In this painting, a “tongue of fire” shaped as a dove rests above the Blessed Virgin Mary. She is wrapped in a red mantle, and she holds a powerful weapon, the Rosary. Holding the beads of the Holy Rosary, Mother Mary meditates on the 33 earthly years she spent with her son, Jesus. She contemplates on the mysteries of Jesus’ Conception, Birth, Crucifixion and Resurrection.

Blessed Mother Mary is the Spouse of the Holy Spirit. She is Jesus’ first disciple and first evangelizer. Mother Mary in complete union with the Holy Spirit always directs her children closer to Jesus Christ in the Holy Eucharist.
